On Thursday 21st March we went to Sandfield Farm and had a very muddy but fantastic time!
We started off with a quiz about Victorian superstitions then went on a long walk and learnt about Victorian farming. Did you know that they didn't have tractors? They used shire horses instead.
We played a fun Victorian game called 'Geordie Ball' and then worked in groups to make a piece of Victorian furniture out of leaves, branches, sticks, logs, twigs and rope.
After lunch we had a wonderful time in the play wood where some of us made a castle for Queen Victorian.
Another great day down on the farm!
